The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition celebrates the exciting research conducted by Rice graduate students, while cultivating students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills.
All Rice alumni and friends are invited to attend Rice University’s Three Minute Thesis Competition on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Moody Center for the Arts.
Learn about the exciting research happening at Rice through a series of fast-paced talks. Students will have a chance to win prizes and represent Rice University at the regional finals at the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools. Rice alumni and friends can participate directly in the event by casting their vote for their favorite presentation with the 3MT Alumni Choice Award. A reception and awards ceremony will follow the competition. Guests are welcome to explore the Moody Center Exhibitions during the reception.
